Wishing clients and friends a peaceful and happy Christmas
It’s been a lovely year, I’ve been so pleased to work on lots of exciting projects with wonderful clients, too numerous to mention but they’ve included new websites, branding, several newsletters, leaflets, ebooks and gorgeous print books. I’ve trained on how to use WordPress and Squarespace, held a design problem solving event, delivered two Ask The Experts for Drive the Network and three PechaKucka talks. I have also collaborated with editors, photographers and fellow designers and wish to grow that side of Hello Lovely in 2019.
I’ve also read hundreds of posts on social media in business groups about what to send clients. I want to say a thanks but I want to do so with meaning and thought and I hope you like what I’ve decided to do this year.
This year Hello Lovely has supported ‘Reserve a Place for Christmas’ appeal run by Crisis. This UK wide charity supports people who are homeless by providing access to meals, medical care, mental health support and welfare… and so much more. They do endless amounts of work to help people. A place at Christmas allows someone to have a warm welcome, 3 meals, a bed for the night, a shower, a health check and help from mental health services and access to advice on housing, employment and benefits. I have donated for two people and their dogs to have a place. If you’re struggling with gifts, maybe you might consider doing the same? All the details on how to donate are here.
I also made a personal donation to Animal Helpline Rescue on behalf of Molly our lab/lurcher rescue who was saved by them and brought into my life in 2012.
Thank to everyone who has read this blog this year, worked with me, shared or liked a post on social medial and been a friendly face at an event I’ve visited. I hope we can do more work together in 2019.
